Bermuda Triangle Mystery

If you're a firm believer in the mysteries of the Bermuda Triangle, this article will undoubtedly change your view. With the discovery of the wreckage of a nearly 100-year-old ship, is the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle just a myth?

Why is the Bermuda Triangle a Myth?

Because for a long time, people thought that the Bermuda Triangle was involved in the disappearance of ship SS-Cotopaxi without any sign. It is a steam-powered Bulk Carrier type vessel. The ship, which was heading to Havana, Cuba, was unable to reach its destination.

We know that the Bermuda Triangle is the center of the triangle in the middle of when the Bermuda, Florida and Puerto Rico merge. But what's more remarkable is that the wreckage was not found inside the Bermuda Triangle. And if you take the Bermuda Triangle, many of the fabricated events are not even near the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. The idea was published on the 'Live Science' website by marine biologist and diver Michael C. Barnette. He also found the wreckage of the ship.

How did the word 'Bermuda Triangle' go-to people?

The SS-Cotopaxi vanished in December 1925, along with thirty-two crew members. In those days, the word Bermuda Triangle was not even heard. The term 'Bermuda Triangle' first went public in the '60s in a magazine article. Then in 1974, a book called The Bermuda Triangle was published. This means that people did not hear the word Bermuda Triangle at the time of the SS-Cotopaxi crash.

It was after 1974 that the Bermuda Triangle became popular. The 1977 film Close Encounter of the Third Kind, directed by Spielberg, linked the disappearance of the SS-Cotopaxi ship to the Bermuda Triangle and alien creatures. So this is how the relationship between the ship and the Bermuda Triangle has impressed people.

When Michael Barnette reported that the SS-Cotopaxi had sunk at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean, the world-renowned website 'Science Channel' contacted him and presented a documentary about the discovery. You can watch it here.

Unless you are informed of the disappearance of that ship, it can be a significant loss. So let's talk about that briefly.

How the SS-Cotopaxi Ship Was Missing

The SS-Cotopaxi was launched on November 25, 1925, in Charleston, South Carolina. It carried a large quantity of coal. But the vessel could not go any further. Shipwrecked by a great storm, At least one of the thirty-two travelers was not found. A study by Mr. Barnette and a British researcher shows why.

After the incident, a family member of the staff sued the company. They also found the man who worked as a carpenter on that ship. He said that the hatch cover, which was being built to cover the coal, had been broken beforehand, causing it to sink into the water and sink.

It was also revealed that the ship had issued disaster signals on December 1, 1925. And the disaster signals were captured in Jacksonville, Florida. The wreckage of the ship was also found nearby.

So with the SS-Cotopaxi, the Bermuda Triangle has nothing to do with it. Researchers say the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle is just a myth. What is your opinion Comment below?
